An SPC Position Paper by Bill Frilay Click.

Bill Frilay examines the evidence about the threat from global warming and argues that the world needs to take urgent action. He draws from the Princeton Wedge list to show how the levels of greenhouse gases can be significantly reduced by multiple new strategies and technologies.

He looks at Australian government policies, including the debate about the Emissions Trading Scheme versus a carbon tax. He also considers ethical aspects to ensure that unfair burdens do not fall on the poor or on the poorer developing countries.
